Can WOTC credit be taken for an employee without a prior certification?
CMS Says: It sounds like you are asking about current employees who were not certified. The answer to that question is No. Unless they were hired and started within 28 days, you can’t go back and claim credit for them. WOTC applies to new hires only, not rehires.
