Today’s WOTC Wednesday question: What is the Work Opportunity Tax Credit amount for hiring an Ex Felon?
CMS Responds: A “qualified ex-felon” is a person hired within a year of being convicted of a felony or being released from prison for a felony.
The maximum amount you would receive for hiring a “qualified ex-felon” is $2,400.
